Your team doesn’t need another off-site. They need an honest mirror.
Horses don’t care about your org chart. They respond to presence, clarity, and congruence, the exact things your team needs more of. This is leadership development that sticks, because it’s felt, not just discussed.
Two certified facilitators · up to 10 people · half-day in the arena, no PowerPoint
Most leadership training looks like sitting in a conference room nodding at slides. This doesn’t.
We run hands-on, equine-assisted corporate team building and leadership development for small teams across the San Francisco Peninsula and the Coastside. Working alongside horses, your people get honest, immediate feedback on how they actually show up, then turn that into shared language they carry back to the office.
Horses read what words hide. The result is a day that lands in the body, not just the calendar, and that’s exactly why it sticks.
“This is a very unique workshop with the horses. I’d highly encourage any business owner with a small team to do it, to build a stronger, more cohesive team.”
Daryl, President, ColdCraftCorporate team building in three steps.
Every engagement is built around your team’s real friction points, not a canned curriculum.
Discovery call
We start with a 30-minute call and a short participant survey to learn your team’s friction points, communication gaps, and goals.
Custom half-day
Two certified coaches, one for business and one for horses, lead a four-hour intensive in the arena, designed around what you told us.
Debrief & report
A two-week group debrief call plus a written summary for the executive sponsor keeps the momentum going after the day ends.
Built on the G.R.O.W.T.H. Framework.
Ranger’s six-part framework gives the day a clear spine. We run it as-is or tailor the stages to your organization.
Grounded in Values
Clarify the non-negotiables your leadership stands on.
Recognize the Voice
Name the inner critic that shows up under pressure.
Overcome Obstacles
Stand behind hard calls and move through resistance.
Worldview Expansion
Surface blind spots before they become team problems.
Tend Relationships
Build trust deliberately, not accidentally, through real communication and listening.
Harvest Through Action
Each participant leaves with a written 30-day commitment plan, not just a good feeling.

A real day in the arena.
Here’s the ColdCraft team during our “Make Yourself Herd” workshop, a session all about communication styles.

Leadership in a Box
In one signature exercise, the team has to guide two mini horses into a box on the ground, using only non-verbal communication and a real awareness of each person’s communication style.
Nobody can bark orders. Everyone has to read the room, and the horses. It surfaces exactly how your team coordinates under pressure, then we debrief what it means back at the office.
“I was surprised how much the horses’ personalities affect our energy. Watching my team learn each other’s communication styles, the driver, the analytical, the amiable, the expressive, makes it a lot easier to handle whatever comes up next.”

Simple, honest, and scaled to your team.
We have two founding-partner spots left. These go at a below-market rate in exchange for a few things that help us prove the work (details below).
In plain terms: $1,000 for up to 6 people, then $200 per additional person through 10. For groups over 10, it’s just a quick conversation about headcount and how to make it happen.
The founding-partner exchange
You get below-market access to a proven program. In return, we ask for the proof that makes it undeniable:
Want to make a real event of it? We partner with a local photographer and a local caterer so your team can capture the day and break bread together. Both are optional, at additional cost, just ask.
Deep roots on the Coastside and the Peninsula.
Joan and I live and work here, and we know the area well. So if your team wants to turn the workshop into a half-day, a full day, or a whole weekend, we’re glad to help with things to do, places to stay, and local connections.
Start with Visit Half Moon Bay and The San Francisco Peninsula, then reach out and we’ll point you to our favorites.
“You don’t really get this kind of thing from corporate workshops or ropes courses. There’s something really special and powerful about horses. I don’t think anyone would really have a good excuse to miss it.”
