You’ve already done it all.
You’ve read the leadership books. Sat through the offsites. Built something real. And still there’s a gap between everything you know about leadership and how you actually show up when the pressure lands.
Traditional development trains your head. But your team doesn’t follow your knowledge. They follow your presence, your steadiness, your ability to stay grounded when everything around you shifts.

The G.R.O.W.T.H. Framework
Every session and workshop runs on Ranger’s G.R.O.W.T.H. Framework, which braids together three things most leadership training keeps apart. Healthy systems renew themselves. So can the way you lead.
Grounded in Mission and Values
Get clear on what you actually stand for, so your decisions stop pulling in six directions.
Recognizing the Sabotaging Voice
Name the inner critic running the show, the one your team can feel even when you never say it out loud.
Overcoming Obstacles
Build the growth mindset and mental frameworks that turn stuck into moving.
Worldview Expansion
See the bigger field you’re operating in, and the options you were missing while heads-down.
Tend Relationships
Learn your communication style and how to genuinely connect with the people you lead.
Harvest Through Action
Turn insight into declarations and real accountability, so it sticks long past the parking lot.
Not theory. A different way of showing up.
By the end of the session you won’t just understand these. You’ll have felt them, practiced them, and gotten honest feedback on each.
Presence people feel before you speak
The grounded, settled authority that makes a room turn toward you, without you raising your voice.
Lead without forcing. Direct without dominating.
Learn the difference between pressure that builds trust and pressure that quietly erodes it.
Regenerate your energy, not just manage it
Borrow the regenerative principle that healthy systems renew themselves, and apply it to how you lead.
Clarity on the pattern holding you back
The exact leadership habit you can’t see in yourself, revealed through real-time feedback from a 1,200-pound animal with no reason to flatter you.
Three ways into the arena.
Same horses, same honest feedback. Pick the format that fits where you are.

The First-Hour Guarantee
Give us the first hour. If you don’t feel this is unlike any leadership work you’ve ever done, tell a facilitator, head out, and we’ll refund every dollar. You keep the framework. The only thing you can lose is the pattern you walked in with.
A look inside Taming the Inner Critic
This is the 3 R’s framework in action, the method we use in that workshop to quiet the sabotaging voice.
Two facilitators. One unusual pairing.

Ranger Kielak
Former agricultural inspector turned regenerative leadership coach. Walked 2,642 miles across America one step at a time. He now uses the same principles agriculturalists use to rebuild their soil to help leaders rebuild themselves.

Joan Brennan
USDF medalist and USEF-certified trainer with over two decades at the highest levels of competitive dressage. She now focuses everything horses have taught her about leadership, presence, and authentic connection on the people in this room.
“This is different.”
You don’t really get this kind of thing from corporate workshops or ropes courses. There’s something really special and powerful about horses.
I learned that leadership isn’t just about me. It’s also about the people you’re leading and what you want to do for them.
I came to realize that everyone has an inner critic. In this workshop, we didn’t just deal with it alone.
Want to bring your whole team out?
We run private corporate sessions for groups up to 10. For larger teams, we’ll jump on a quick call to game-plan the day so it fits your people and your goals. Same equine-partnered work, built around what your team needs to shift together.
See corporate workshops →The honest answers.
Do I need any horse experience?+
None at all. Most participants have never worked with a horse. The exercises are designed for complete beginners, and the facilitators guide you through every moment.
Is it safe? Will I be riding?+
You will not ride. Everything happens on the ground, beside the horse, under the direct supervision of a USEF-certified trainer and a trained facilitator. Safety is built into the structure of the day.
What if I’m nervous around horses?+
That’s normal, and it’s part of the work. How you meet something big and unfamiliar with calm is exactly the kind of presence we’re building. You’ll never be pushed past what feels safe.
Who is this for?+
Women business owners, founders, and high-achieving leaders who run people and sense a gap between what they know and how they show up. It’s not for someone looking for another lecture or a slide deck of theory. This is experiential.
What if I want to bring my team out?+
We run private corporate sessions for teams of up to 10, and we’ll game-plan larger groups on a call. See our corporate team building page for the details.
Where is it, and what should I wear?+
At Ember Ridge Equestrian Center in Moss Beach, CA. Wear closed-toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting a little dusty. Coffee and snacks are on us.
What if it doesn’t work for me?+
Then you don’t pay. See the First-Hour Guarantee above. If within the first hour it isn’t landing, you leave with a full refund and the framework.
