The land already knows how to grow things well. So do you.
Agritransformation is experiential personal and professional development on working agricultural land. Regenerative agriculture doesn’t force growth, it builds the conditions and lets a healthy system renew itself. People, teams, and businesses grow the exact same way.
Everything is a lesson.
What is Agritransformation?
It’s the umbrella over everything I do, and it’s simpler than it sounds.
Agritransformation means bringing people out to working agricultural land and letting the land do what it has always done: teach. You work with the horses, get your hands in the soil, share a meal from the field, and come away having learned as much about yourself and your team as about farming. The aim is old-fashioned on purpose, to reconnect people to each other, and to the land, through experiences you can’t get in a conference room.
Workshops & corporate retreats
Half-day equine sessions and private team experiences out on the ranch. Bring your team out.
Farm dinners & gatherings
Long-table meals straight from the field, built for connection, with more farm experiences on the way.
Weekend retreats
Deeper, multi-day experiences that give the land the time it needs to really go to work on you.
An agriculturalist who kept noticing the same lessons everywhere.
I came up in agriculture. UC Davis, years as a county pesticide inspector, hands in the soil on ranches and research plots. My first ranch job had me digging thistle out by the root, because if you only cut the top, it comes right back. That stuck with me. Most problems, in a business or a life, are like that thistle.
In 2024 I walked 2,642 miles across America, one step at a time, and had a lot of hours to think about it. What I kept landing on is that the principles that rebuild depleted soil, roots first, diversity, renewal instead of extraction, are the same principles that rebuild a tired leader, a stuck team, or a business that’s lost its why.

What the soil teaches about people.
Four principles regenerative farmers live by, and what each one looks like when you apply it to a person, a team, or a business.
Tend the roots first
Healthy growth you can see starts with a foundation you can’t. For people, that’s values, clarity, and self-awareness, before tactics.
Diversity is resilience
A monoculture is fragile. A varied system bends and recovers. The same is true of a team’s skills and a leader’s perspective.
Renew, don’t deplete
Extraction burns a field out. Regeneration gives back as it grows. Leaders who only push eventually run themselves and their people dry.
Set conditions, don’t force
You can’t yank a plant taller. You build the conditions and let it grow. Real change in people works the same way, and it lasts longer.
The G.R.O.W.T.H. Framework.
The framework I built to put all of this to work. It braids together three things most development keeps apart.
Grounded in Mission and Values
Get clear on what you actually stand for, so your decisions stop pulling in six directions.
Recognizing the Sabotaging Voice
Name the inner critic running the show, the one others can feel even when you never say it out loud.
Overcoming Obstacles
Build the growth mindset and mental frameworks that turn stuck into moving.
Worldview Expansion
See the bigger field you’re operating in, and the options you were missing while heads-down.
Tend Relationships
Learn your communication style and how to genuinely connect with the people around you.
Harvest Through Action
Turn insight into declarations and real accountability, so it sticks long past the moment.

Sometimes the best teacher has four legs.
Horses are the heart of the Agritransformation work, and the most powerful way to put it into your body instead of just your head. They read your presence the way people quietly do every day, and they’ll tell you the truth about it in seconds. No riding, no experience needed.
We run it as one-on-one coaching, small-group workshops, and corporate team building.
More farm and ranch experiences, on the way.
The horses are just the start. Agritransformation is a whole season of hands-on experiences where the land does the teaching, because everything out here is a lesson.
Farm dinners & networking
Team-building and connection over a long table, with the field it came from just outside.
U-pick in the field
Hands in the harvest. A simple, grounding reset that doubles as a lesson in tending and timing.
Cheese & wine tastings
Slow down, use your senses, and taste what patience and place actually produce.
Time with farm animals
Beyond horses. Honest, unhurried encounters with the animals that keep a farm running.
Seasonal workshops
Hands-on sessions that follow the rhythm of the land through the year.
And more in the works
We’re just getting started. New experiences are being planned for every season.
